ECO ECSTASY ESCAPE FOR STUDENTS OF GRADE 3, 4 & 5 - 2025

On 17 November 2025, students of Grade 3, 4 and 5 were taken on an exciting field trip to the Botanical Garden in Hyderabad. The weather was pleasant, and everyone was eager to explore the natural surroundings. As they entered the garden, they were welcomed by tall trees, colourful flowers, and the fresh smell of plants. The waterfall from the teddy’s mouth was a special attraction for the children.

They first visited the butterfly park where the guide explained the role of the nectar plants and the host plants. It was one of the most beautiful parts of the garden.  Bright butterflies flew all around, and the students recalled how they help in pollination.

Next, students visited the musical tree garden from which musical instruments are made. Later, they saw different medicinal plants like Ashwagandha tulsi, aloe vera, and neem. The guide explained how these plants help in curing common illnesses.

The students also explored the bamboo grove and the cactus section. They saw many rare plant species that are not commonly found in the city. The students were encouraged to observe carefully and ask questions.

Finally, there was a show in the Amphitheatre on the grave issue of public littering. It shed light on the civic sense and the public responsibility of cleaning campaigns by all as citizens – a small step brings big change, which was an eye-opener to everyone.

Before leaving, the students sat under a big tree and shared their lunch. The trip taught the importance of plants in keeping our environment clean and healthy. It was both fun and educational, and they returned to school with happy memories and new knowledge about nature.
