Teachers’ Support Training Session:
On 13 July 2023, Cambridge Assessment International Education organised a teachers’ support training session to assist teachers in their professional development as it leads to improved outcomes for learners. The session was conducted by a Cambridge associate. He gave insights to develop the understanding of the syllabi and curriculum framework, and techniques to engage with learners in greater depth. Guidance was provided on administering, planning, delivering and marking coursework components. The workshop was attended by many teachers from across the city. The representatives from Kennedy High the global school were the lower/senior secondary co-ordinator, primary wing coordinator and two teachers from the English department and Science department.
The session was made interesting by debates and activities, and the participants engaged themselves in all of them enthusiastically. The session was an opportunity for teachers to share knowledge and discuss common challenges in education.
It was a delightful session where the participants learnt about the learner-centred approach, international awareness and global perspectives. All the attendees learnt new concepts, shared knowledge, and discussed common challenges in their own teaching practice.
