KENNEDY HIGH the global school hosted “KALANJALI-2023”-a Literary and Cultural Fest on 18 August 2023, for the second consecutive year successfully.
Chairman Sri. S. Jamala Reddy, the Chief Guest, while declaring the event open, emphasized that participation in such creative pursuits adds a new dimension to one’s personality and winning or losing is temporary. Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat also shared her thoughts on the importance of such competitions and wished the candidates all the best.
A total of 9 schools participated in this event. Four group event and one individual event were organized. Expert teachers from other schools were invited to judge the events.
KENNEDY HIGH students wowed the judges with their brilliant performances in Theatre (Shakespearean Tragicomedy), Nukkad Natak, Swar Sudha (Group singing) and Kalakriti (Poster making). They won the first prize in all the four categories. In Nupur (Group dance) they won the second prize and kept the KENNEDY spirits high.
The winners from all the schools had big smiles on their faces as they held up their trophies and certificates proudly.
The judges were also felicitated by Chairman, Sri. S. Jamala Reddy.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by the Cultural Captain.
