CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION AT KENNEDY HIGH

On 15.09.2023, KENNEDY HIGH organised a Career Guidance and Awareness session for the students of IGCSE, AS, and A Level of CAIE to make them cognizant of the different career choices and available courses.

The session was led by the school counsellor and commenced with a career exploration activity, where students linked careers to subjects. Discussion was held on factors influencing career choices, including peer pressure and personal interests. Students were motivated to consider their passions, interests, and abilities. Steps for effective career planning, emphasising research and internships were outlined by the counsellor.

Information on different education boards and emerging careers were provided and the session also covered subject choices and streams. The interactive session empowered students to make informed career decisions.
