The Ministry of Culture and Development, Government of India conducted “Reading India – 2024” in some of the top schools in India to inculcate reading habits in children in the schools. It was sponsored by BBC Groups.
KENNEDY HIGH the global School was one of the three schools in Hyderabad, selected to conduct this event. We organized the event “Reading India – 2024” in our school premises from 20 August 2024 to 24 August 2024.
Books displayed by the BBC group included fiction, non-fiction, self-motivation, puzzles, science project, activities, stories, children’s books and comics books amounting to almost 5000 titles from the 40 different publishers.
All our students participated enthusiastically, and were very happy to be a part of this event as they found the latest copies of the books from reputed authors and publishers, which they purchased as per their interest.
