78th Independence Day Celebrated at KENNEDY HIGH the global school

KENNEDY HIGH the global school celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day on 15 August 2024 with great joy and enthusiasm. The entire school community gathered for the flag hoisting ceremony, embracing the spirit of unity and patriotism. The campus was adorned with the tricolour, serving as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices that led to our nation’s hard-earned freedom.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest of the day, President Sri. B. Subba Reddy, accompanied by Managing Director, Commander Sri.N. Krupakar Reddy, and Academic Director and Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem by everyone present, filling the air with a sense of pride and unity.
In his inspiring speech, President Sri B. Subba Reddy extended his blessings to the students, while Managing Director Commander Sri N. Krupakar Reddy reaffirmed the school’s commitment to the values that unite us as Indians and encouraged the students to model exemplary behaviour and contribute to the nation’s growth by becoming role models themselves. He emphasized the importance of upholding justice, equality, and our rich cultural diversity as the bedrock of our nation’s progress.
Academic Director and Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat also shared her words of wisdom, highlighting the development of Viksit India 2047 and skills such as creativity, critical thinking, sustainability, and leadership qualities. She emphasized the school’s role in nurturing the future leaders of our country and encouraged everyone to build on the legacy of our forefathers for a brighter future.
The event featured a vibrant parade by students from the four houses, led by their respective House Captains and Vice-Captains, with the school council members leading the march. The highlight of the day was the impressive march-past by the school’s Security Contingent.
The cultural extravaganza that followed began with a patriotic song, setting the tone for a series of performances that included melodious instrumental music, enthralling dances, and soulful patriotic songs. Speeches by students further enriched the day’s celebrations.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Head Girl from the Cambridge wing, bringing the day’s festivities to a memorable close.
