NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATED AT KENNEDY HIGH-2026

On 28 February 2026, KENNEDY HIGH the global school celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm to promote scientific awareness among students. The day commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.

As part of the celebration, students were shown an informative educational video explaining the significance of National Science Day and the remarkable contribution of C. V. Raman to the field of physics. The video helped students understand the importance of scientific discoveries and encouraged them to develop curiosity and a scientific temperament.

The programme concluded with an interactive discussion where students shared their thoughts on how science and innovation can help solve real-world problems. The celebration successfully inspired students to appreciate the importance of science and motivated them to pursue scientific learning with enthusiasm.
