The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated on 15 August 2026 at KENNEDY HIGH with immense patriotic spirit, pride and enthusiasm. The celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, culture, tradition and national pride.

The programme began with a graceful floral presentation, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Sri.B.Subba Reddy, President, Kennedy Global schools Education Society.

The flag hoisting was followed by a March Past by the four different house members, reflecting discipline, unity and team spirit.

Sri B. Subba Reddy, President, Kennedy Global schools Education Society, urged the students to fulfil their duty as future citizens. He said unless we all are able to provide food, shelter and medical amenities to every person in the country, no Indian can be truly independent.

Commander Sri N. Krupakar Reddy, Managing Director, KENNEDY HIGH the global school, addressed the gathering and inspired the students to dream big, embrace innovation and contribute towards building a strong and developed India. He told the students that they need to be determined to succeed, learn with curiosity, respect environment, use technology prudently to take the country forward.

The Academic Director & Senior Principal, Smt. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, extended warm Independence Day greetings and reminded the students that freedom comes with responsibility and that unless one has self-discipline, one cannot hope to be successful. She reiterated that the students need to appreciate others, develop confidence and skills to be the true “Yuva-shakti@2047”. She also spoke about the second theme of 80^th Independence Day which was the commemoration of 150^th year of our national song, “Vande mataram”.

Marking the 150th anniversary of the iconic national song “Vande Mataram,” the students presented a soulful instrumental rendition of Vande Mataram, creating an atmosphere of reverence and national pride. The celebration further came alive with patriotic songs and vibrant dance performances, beautifully portraying the glory, diversity and spirit of India.

The celebration concluded with a strong sense of unity, pride and commitment to the nation.
